Benjamin Wilson, Jr. was poised to be one of the most promising young basketball players out of Chicago and lead his high school to its first Illinois State Championship in 1984. The win against Evanston Township High School enthralled his town but just short of his senior year at Simeon Vocational High School, he lost his life to gun violence.
Nike and London’s ILoveDust creative agency connected to give the outstanding player a posthumous tribute with the Benji Wilson Pack featuring a pair Nike’s Lunar Hyperdunk 2012.
The Benji Wilson Lunar Hyperdunk 2012 come in a Gold, University and Royal Blue akin to his school’s colors. Also included is Wilson’s #25 plaque and a shoe tag tucked a custom etched wood box made from Simeon HS gym flooring marking an awesome tribute collection.
