Something very cool has happened in the restaurant and nightlife scene in New York. Formerly Au Bar, Lavo New York is a new restaurant in NYC that features some top notch Italian cuisine by Chef Manuel Trevino. The success of Trevino’s venture with Babbo Restaurant made him perfect to create dishes for Lavo which also doubles as a bathhouse themed night club. The club is a partnership by Mark Packer and Rich Wolfe who also run the popular Tao Restaurant.
For eaters who choose to have dinner a bit more quietly, the restaurant and club are separated into different venues that are nonetheless exciting. Also on Saturdays, Lavo hosts a 2-6pm champagne brunch and during club hours bottle service is recommended if you like your drinks delivered by bikini’ed models.
