Bronx native Joshua Kissi is no stranger to good style and all things fashion. After founding the uniquely profound menswear blog Street Etiquette in 2008 with his partner Travis Gumbs, the 23-year-old has a style sense far beyond his years. Known for mastering wardrobes from new garments to nostalgic thrift pieces, Kissi is one of the youngest, yet most stylish men in New York City. This is no secret as publications like GQ Magazine and The New York Times all praise Kissi for his inspired approach towards fashion. Mr. Porter recently caught up with Kissi for their enlightening series, The Way I Dress.
In the short clip that takes place in a studio in NYC, Joshua talks his earliest fashion influences as his parents and the elegance of their stylish West African roots. He signifies colors and self-expression as key elements personal style and remembers his fashion scope beginning to evolve in his high school days. Watch the visual below as Joshua talks fashion in some great pieces currently available now at Mr. Porter.
