In a year where the Air Jordan IV reigned supreme, styles like the “White Cement,” “Breds,” “Military Blue” and “Fire Reds” made their mark over the course of 2012. However, others like the “Cavs” and last weeks ”Thunder” closed out the year. This onslaught would lead one to believe that the silhouette would take a break in the coming year. Well, not exactly. With thunder comes lightning and the same can be said for Air Jordan IV’s. 2013 will mark the return of the “Lightning.”

After releasing in the 2006 pack along with the “Thunder,” the “Lightning” bears a lively yellow upper with a black midsole. Grey accenting appears throughout the sneaker, most notably on the Jumpman branding. This looks to be the first of more IV’s to come in the new year. Definitely a great start.
