The Marostica Mid is a mid top sneaker with hiking details, featured here in a 1,4 mm Vesuvio suede from Italian tannery Conceria Mastrotto. Produced by a family run rubber producer in Marche, Italy, that has been making soles since 1952. The inner lining is made of cow leather instead of pig leather for increased comfort, and the foot-bed is of vegetable latex with a leather upper lining. A gusseted leather tongue with vegetable latex padding will keep water from permeating the top of the shoe, and the padding creates a soft cushion over the instep. The heel support is kept in place with a quintuple stitching for maximum durability.
