Westside Gunn has officially announced his first-ever sneaker collaboration with Saucony. The collaboration, which he teased on Instagram, showcases his hands-on involvement in the design process. He shared clips of himself working closely with Saucony’s design team, selecting materials and discussing the details of the sneakers. Featured in the above picks are a limited Glow in the Dark pair that will be super limited.
Two designs were revealed: the Progrid Omni 9 with an all-red upper and lime green accents, and the Progrid Triumph 4, which features a multi-colored scheme. In the announcement, Gunn expressed how important this collaboration is to him, crediting fellow designer Jae Tips as a key inspiration.
