While some retailers may have them early, this coming Saturday, October 6th marks the first release from the Air Jordan IX “Johnny Kilroy” pack. The series featuring a wide array of color schemes of the Jordan Brand gem. Second up to bat will be the “Fontay Montana.” Continuing in Michael Jordans alter ego, another character, Montana, is another imaginary character and leader of the Gulls team. His Knicks inspired colorway will drop just a week after the Kilroy’s.
In one of our personal favorite colorways of the Kilroy pack, the “Fontay Montana” is the second release from the series. Boasting a Pure Platinum upper, the shoe sees orange accenting throughout the tongue, heel and midsole. Game Royal highlights the entire tongue, lace locks, and heel tab as well as the Jordan branding on the outsole. “Fontay Montana” is written across the tongue while “Gulls” is embroidered on the inner with numerous other graphics on the footbed. Priced at $160 USD, look for the lively new Air Jordan IX on October 13th.
As the releases from whats shaping up to be a great 2013 continue, Jordan Brand drops a gem today. That gem is news of Air Jordan 13 making a comeback next year. Last seen as apart of the Countdown Pack in January 2008, this sneaker is popular in a very unique way. In Spike Lee’s critically acclaimed film He Got Game, GQ Magazine’s current coverboy Denzel Washington rocked the coveted Jordans throughout the film. Hopefully upon their return you won’t be wearing them with a tracking bracelet like his character, Jake Shuttlesworth.
Originally released in 1997, the Air Jordan 13 is one of the many incredible Tinker Hatfield creations. The confirmed model for 2013, sporting white/black coloring, is surely one of the most popular of the series. Dropping sixteen years after is debut, the Air Jordan 13 will surely be a huge release next year. No release date has been announced, but stick with stupidDOPE for more details as they emerge.

Wow, 2013 is shaping up to be monumental for Jordan Brand. With your favorite OG Jordan V’s hitting shelves next year, looks as if we will also see the stellar Air Jordan VIII make a much-needed comeback. A rarity, the Jordan VIII isn’t typically seen in comparison to other popular models. Most notably, the “Aqua,” which has been absent since 2007, will undergo the retro treatment in 2013. In one of the most celebrated color schemes of its kind, this could easily be one of the bigger releases of the coming year.
The Air Jordan VII “Aqua” is symbolic in many ways. First, it’s the sneaker Michael Jordan wore while on his way to his first 3-Peat with the Chicago Bulls. Secondly, 2013 marks the 20th anniversary of the coveted shoe and that championship run. Each plays a part in the release of this signature Jordan silhouette. Rumored to see it’s release in Fall of 2013, is this a must have for you? Let us know.
The Nike Air Foamposite One “Liverpool” Custom finds LeBron’s favorite club (no, not Liv) lending itself to the Penny favorite. Made by Sole Swap, this creation matches a bright red upper with turquoise hits on the tagging and bottom.
If the Nike LeBron X+ “USA Gold Medal’s” release date of September 29th was too far away for you, we have some good news. Nike Las Vegas has confirmed the release of the Nike LeBron X+ Sports Pack “Crown Jewel” on September 22, one week ahead of the USA version. As the name suggests, the model, featuring a heavy influence of fireberry with a speckled grey midsole and grey over the textured Nike Swoosh, seems fit for a king. Will you cop this colorway of the Nike LeBron X+ or will you wait a week for the USA Gold Medal version?
Reebok Classics release another classic colorway of the Reebok Question Mid in White/Pearlized Navy. Made famous as the pair that Allen Iverson wore when he crossed Michael Jordan over twice, the model features a mostly white upper with pearlized navy at the toe. Hits of red are scattered throughout the branding efforts, helping to reaffirm the 76ers connection. The Reebok Question Mid White/Pearlized Navy is available now at select retailers.
The Zoom Rookie ‘Galaxy’ is almost here and your chances to cop may have just gotten a little easier as Nike has announced they will release two different versions. The first of which will be the original design we’ve seen all along with the no-glow pods and the second will be this Sole Collector collaboration. The SC x Nike Zoom Rookie ‘Galaxy’ features all of the aesthetics as the other pair but adds glow in the dark pods along with a removable patch on the tongue that reveals Sole Collector’s logo. A full run of photos is featured below and be sure to check back as we expect to have exact release details very soon
Two pair of Air Jordan 7 “Raptors” have been customized with a 90′s twist. The television show “A Different World” embodied the youth and colors of the decade, and this customization does the same. An added creative touch comes in the form of a modified Jumpman symbol, and interior paint job on the box. The winning bid will have a choice of two personalized shoes. One with all panels painted, and the other a little more subdued. Contact niftnif1990 for all inquiries.
